My mission is to help teams become Winning Teams, both in business and sports. A Winning Team for me is a team that is focused on both task and relations - getting the task done but building strong relations and a good culture at the same time.
From 1989 to 2002 I was a professional football player for Werder Bremen and the German National Team and later in 2014 I took responsibility at Werder again as I became chairman of the advisory board for seven years.
In business I loved to commit to different roles as I co-founded the marketing agency deepblue sports which among many other things was lead agency of VfL Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga, built the Beijing Olympic Campaign for EON, one of the biggest energy companies in Germany.
For many years now I have been a keynote speaker with the main topic “Analogies between Football and Business”, sometimes focusing on teams, sometimes on leadership or values.

Winning the German Bundesliga with Werder Bremen in 1993.
Three times Winner of the German Cup in 1991, 1994 and 1999.
Winning the European Cup Winners Cup in 1992.
Winning the EURO 1996 with Germany in England.
Playing the final of the World Cup 2002 in Japan and S. Korea (my last match as a professional player!)

Long term Partnership with Nordisch Filmproduction, producing many film projects such as Toggo United, the first Football show for children in Germany
